Your Happy Place!
What is that special place that brings you peace and joy? For me, it’s the lake. For some reason, water, particularly at a lake setting, creates a sense of calm and well-being within me. I’m not exactly sure why, but I know that when I need to de-stress and calm my nerves, I can do that sitting by a lake listening to the water lapping up on the rocks, taking in the beautiful views on a boat ride, or having fun kayaking or paddle boarding across the lake.
It’s so important to have a happy place to go to when you’re feeling overwhelmed with all your many daily responsibilities. Unfortunately, there’s not always a lake around when you need it. But you can find a quiet place in your home, close your eyes, and imagine how you feel every time you’re in that special place that makes you feel safe, secure, and surrounded by peace and harmony.
Think about that special place you like to go that brings you joy. It may be on a lake, at the beach, in the woods, or even in your imagination! Then go there whenever you want…to shut out the world and enjoy a moment of peace without a care or a worry. You deserve a special place just for you!
